After VfB Stuttgart’s 3-2 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach, there were disturbing scenes in the guest block. A video shared by the “Fanhilfe Mönchengladbach” account on Twitter shows folders violently beating a fan.
According to the “faszination-fankun.de” portal, the brutal use of the folders was preceded by a dispute between two fans in the guest block. The situation then escalated “without reason and unilaterally”. What exactly happened before and how exactly it came to the escalation is not yet known.
Fanhilfe announced that it would support the affected fans in “any criminal charges” and asked VfB Suttgart to comment. Late on Saturday evening, this had not yet been done by the club.
