Dismay at acquittal for those who downplayed the Holocaust

Lateral thinker Sven L. posed at a Corona demo with a Star of David in front of the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe.

Tiergarten District Court. Accused: Sven L. (52) from Saxony-Anhalt. Ex Internet Entrepreneur. Mini job (allegedly only 440 euros net). Known for righteousness. Observed by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution (“latently high potential for aggression”). Various previous convictions.

April 21, 2021: “Querdenker” demo at the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe in Berlin. The qualified financial manager wears a pullover with a yellow Star of David and the inscription “Untested are not welcome here”. He poses provocatively with a copy of the “Diary of Anne Frank” and tries to break through a police cordon.

The accused: “I just ran towards a gap between two police officers, they got in my way. I’m not saying anything about the Jewish star here.” A state security officer from Halle (37) as a witness: “Everything he does is borderline, sometimes punishable, sometimes not.”

The public prosecutor requested six months in prison for incitement to hatred, 60 daily rates of 15 euros each for resistance, and a total of seven months in prison on probation.

With his clothing and appearance in front of the Holocaust memorial, the accused equated his perceived “suffering” as an opponent of corona measures with the suffering of millions of murdered Jews, thus downplaying the Holocaust and disturbing public peace.

“Wearing the Jewish stars led to mass extermination in the Third Reich, there are worlds between testing because of Corona,” says the judge. But that’s not hate speech, just “extremely tasteless”:

Acquittal! Only the resistance is sentenced (1050 euros fine, 70 daily rates of 15 euros). The accused sneers, horror on the audience bench.
