Cycling team loses Kruijswijk and Roglic, but: ‘Van Aert is a servant who can drive for three’

CARCASSONNE – Jumbo-Visma thought it had had all the bad luck in the damned cobblestone stage, but the Dutch team is spared little in this Tour de France. In the morning the announcement came that the battered Primoz Roglic had handed in his number 11 jersey. A loss on which the team was counted, but what happened afterwards in the fifteenth stage, was another big line through the Tour account of the unfortunate Dutch team. “How is the state of mind?”, sports director Grischa Niermann repeated the question. “Not too good.”
