The German Football League has scheduled the game days 1 to 5 in the Bundesliga and 3 to 7 in the 2nd Bundesliga. It has been known for three weeks that Hamburger SV has been playing the first home game in the upper house against city rivals FC St. Pauli for over seven years, now it is also clear when exactly when. On Friday, August 29th, it will come to the Hamburg city derby.
The opening game will play as early as DFL announces FC Bayern and RB Leipzig, the first top game on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. will be held at the Millerntor when the Kiezkicker Borussia Dortmund received. The HSV starts the new season with a Sunday game at Borussia Mönchengladbach, as well as 1. FC Köln in Mainz. In the 2nd Bundesliga there will be a small district derby between FC Schalke and VfL Bochum on matchday 3 – kick -off is on Saturday, August 23, at 8:30 p.m. Among the other highlights are the evening games Hannover 96 against Hertha BSC on September 13th and Bochum against Fortuna Düsseldorf on September 27th.
