Germany disassembles disastrous Dutch women

The German national team in the Nations League played great against the Netherlands. The reward for performance: the partial name at the Final Four tournament.

The DFB women’s furious appearance in the last home game before the upcoming European Championship: The team of national coach Christian Wück won on Friday evening in the Nations League against the Netherlands also earned 4: 0 (3-0). It is therefore clear that Germany will take part in the final tournament of the competition at the end of the year.

In the Weser Stadium in Bremen, the team around captain Giulia Gwinn gave no chance from the start in front of more than 32,000 spectators in the tuned tuning guests. Bayern player Linda Dallmann scored the lead after nine minutes. Club colleague Lea Schüller increased to 2: 0 (25th minute) a little later. Even before the break, Sarai Linder screwed the result up again (45th). With her second goal, Schüller made the final score shortly after the restart (48th).

“We wanted to show that we could determine the game. The girls implemented that brilliantly. It was a good game all around,” praised the national coach on ZDF. He particularly liked that his team played too zero. This is extremely important to get self -confidence.

For the DFB women, the final game in the Nations League is still on the plan on Tuesday. Then it goes in Vienna against Austria (from 8:30 p.m. in the LiveTicker from T-Online). The European Championships in Switzerland starts around a month later.

Wück was already making a sign towards EM with his starting eleven. In the central defense, he built Rebecca Knaak in addition to a regular Janina Minge, Linder ran on the left. In addition, Dallmann whirled up in the center instead of Laura – and was right in the middle of it.

The Munich woman rewarded the DFB team for a stormy start, she hit the corner. Wück observed with up rolled -up sleeves how his eleven aggressive pressure set up pressure and defended wide awake. Unlike often before, the team did not slept the first half.

While the Dutchers remained harmless without the Bundesliga goalkeeper Lineth Beerensteyn, the DFB women kept the pressure up. Schüller was close to it (11/22) before she only had to insert a precise cross from Jule Brand. It was in the 50th goal in the DFB dress. Linder crowned the strong appearance before the break with her first international goal.

Lena Oberdorf (23) also applauded satisfied in the stands. The key player, whose possible participation in EM had also recently occurred, currently only trains after her cruciate ligament tear. According to Wück, however, she makes gratifying progress.

Meanwhile, the wave spilled through the Weser Stadium, and as a Schüller shortly after the restart, the mood continued. Wück’s team hardly let anything burn in the duel of the ex-European champions, Klara Bühl came up with further good opportunities (57./65.). In the final phase, the future Leverkusener Carlotta Wamser debut.
