DFB hums Hertha, Schalke, St. Pauli and Darmstadt penalties

The sports court of the German Football Association (DFB) has fined the Bundesliga clubs Hertha BSC and Schalke 04 as well as the second division clubs FC St. Pauli and Darmstadt 98 for various offenses committed by their fans. All four clubs have approved the verdicts, which are now final.

As the DFB announced on Thursday, the Berliners have to pay a fine of 16,000 euros after the fans detonated a total of 16 pyrotechnic objects during the Bundesliga game against Borussia Dortmund in mid-May.

During the second division game in Sandhausen (April 29), the supporters of promoted Schalke threw several objects onto the field, and a fan climbed over the fence onto the lawn, causing a short break in the game. 15,000 euros will be due for this.

FC St. Pauli has to pay 6200 euros after the fans burned down against 1. FC Nürnberg Bengalos, Darmstadt was fined 3200 euros for the same offense by the supporters in the game against SC Paderborn.
