A small consolation after the bitter semi-finals: German internationals Jule Brand (22) and Franziska Kett (20) have been appointed team of the 201 2025 tournament in Switzerland.
The European Football Union UEFA announced the award one day after England’s final victory over Spain.
Brand, which changes from Wolfsburg to Olympique Lyon this summer, scored two goals in five tournament games and prepared two more. The UEFA chose her goal against Poland in fourth place in the ten most beautiful EM goals. Bayern talent Kett had only moved into the battered DFB defense against France in the quarter-finals against France, but immediately convinced and also shone against Spain in the semi-finals.
Eight players from the final teams
