After five years at Bayern, Leroy Sané recently moved to Galatasaray in Istanbul. Details from Sané’s contract with the Munich team have now been unveiled.
Leroy Sané is after cross -competition 223 games, 61 goals and 55 templates and five seasons history at Bayern. Since July 1, the offensive man, who recently played parts of the club World Cup with the Bundesliga club, has officially been Galatasaray players.
Sané’s change to the Turkish champion has dominated the headlines in the past few weeks, also because the German international excluded an extension among Munich, presumably because he did not like the salary offered with reduced covers.
In Istanbul, Sané Finally “a guaranteed net content of 9,000,000 euros” per season and an annual “loyalty bonus of 3,000,000 euros” should move into, his new club recently announced itself on the club’s own homepage. But what actually earned Sané at Bayern before? This has now been unveiled “Bild” podcast “Bavaria Insider”.
Accordingly, Sané from the German record champion has received 15 million euros in the last five years. All six competitive games are said to have increased by one million euros and was able to increase to up to 20 million euros. Means: After 30 competitive games, Sané had reached the magical border.
Sané secured at FC Bayern in the event of failures
But that’s not all: Sané, who had long been a cruciate ligament tear before moving from Manchester City to the Munich team and thus missed large parts of the Premier League season 2019/20, apparently had an extended guarantee for the injury in the Bavaria Treaty.
Actually, the continued payment of wages ends in such a case after six weeks and is then taken over to a lesser extent by health insurance. Not so at Sané: According to “Bild”, it was in his contract that FC Bayern should have paid the entire salary for up to nine months in the event of illness.
This option was probably not used, because Sané’s longest failure among the Munich residents occurred last summer after a groin operation. Sané was “only” missing there for six weeks.
