Depeche Mode have released a video for a song from their current album MEMENTO MORI. The Wagging Tongue clip was shot by filmmaking crew Sacred Egg, with creative direction of 68-year-old cult photographer Anton Corbijn, a longtime collaborator with the band. Dave Gahan and Martin Gore star in the black and white video, which shows a young couple performing a surreal ritual in a village.

MEMENTO MORI was released on March 24, 2023. It was mixed by Marta Salogni. There are 12 songs on the album. It is the British group’s 15th studio album and their first to be released following the death of co-founder and keyboardist Andy Fletcher.
