Depeche Mode have released a video for a song from their latest album Memento Mori. The Wagging Tongue clip was shot by filmmaking crew Sacred Egg, with creative direction of 68-year-old cult photographer and band collaborator Anton Corbijn. Dave Gahan and Martin Gore star in the black and white video, which shows a young couple performing a surreal ritual in a village.

DM are currently on a world tour to accompany the album, taking Gore and Gahan across Europe over the summer before returning to North America in September-December.

“Memento Mori” was released on March 24, 2023. Marta Salogni mixed it. There are 12 songs on the album. It is the British group’s 15th studio album and their first to be released following the death of co-founder and keyboardist Andy Fletcher.
