Demir is sticking to language classes from September 2026, despite advice from the Flemish Education Council

Flemish Minister of Education Zuhal Demir (N-VA) maintains the starting date of September 2026 for the introduction of the so-called ‘Language Hero Classes’ and rejects a postponement. She said this on Thursday in the Education Committee of the Flemish Parliament. Demir perseveres, despite critical advice from the Flemish Education Council (Vlor).
