FC Bayern has apparently taken the next step in poker for Harry Kane’s services and has traveled to London to negotiate a transfer with those responsible at Tottenham Hotspur. But what came of it?
Currently not a day goes by without a new water level in FC Bayern’s transfer poker about Harry Kane. Sometimes it is only a few hours before a new development emerges. “Bild” and the transfer expert Fabrizio Romano unanimously report that a “high-ranking delegation” from the German record champions traveled to north London on Thursday to talk to Spurs club boss Daniel Levy in the capital of Great Britain envisaged obligation of the wish striker to negotiate.
So far, Tottenham has been tough and doesn’t want to let the English international go. And so there was apparently no breakthrough at the meeting in London, which the tabloid called a “secret meeting”. The ideas are too far apart. But it was an “important meeting”, as Romano reported, because Munich made it clear that they would not let up.
And “Bild” also writes that the Bayern delegation is optimistic that Kane will move to Munich this summer.
According to various reports, the striker himself would like to hire the German industry leader anyway, and may even agree on a contract with the FCB bosses.
At the same time, Spurs are still trying everything to get Kane to extend his contract, which currently runs until mid-2024.
How much Bayern Munich has to offer for Kane in the end so that Tottenham boss Levy gives the thumbs up is an open question.
According to the Times, Spurs recently rejected an 80 million euro offer from Munich. “ESPN” even reported an offer for 94 million euros. According to “L’Équipe”, the German record champions now want to improve the offer to a base amount of up to 95 million euros plus bonus payments.
Kane is said to have canceled PSG
Kane is said to have recently canceled the French series champion Paris Saint-Germain, who had also entered the transfer poker, through his advisors. The captain of the English national team, whose contract with Spurs still runs for a year, is said to only want to play for Bayern if he is engaged abroad.
Kane started training at Tottenham on Wednesday and is expected to travel with him on the Premier League club’s almost two-week Pacific tour from Friday.
