DEL: Seidenberg is silent after a possible doping violation

After his provisional suspension, former national ice hockey player Yannic Seidenberg from EHC Red Bull Munich will not comment on a possible violation of anti-doping regulations for the time being.

His lawyer Rainer Cherkeh said the 38-year-old was fully cooperating with the National Anti-Doping Agency.

According to the German Ice Hockey Federation, NADA had found “an analysis result deviating from the norm” in the defender during a training check on Wednesday evening. The former player was therefore provisionally banned by Nada on September 14, 2022.

According to the announcement, the DEL club also suspended the 2018 Olympic silver medalist.

This Thursday evening (7:30 p.m.) the Munich team will play the opening game of the new season in the German Ice Hockey League at the Kölner Haie.
