Definitive end to PvdA and GL: ‘risky’ merger leads to concerns about ‘green leftification’

After 80 years of PvdA and 35 years of GL, both parties will finally come to an end on Saturday. Their joint successor, Progressive Netherlands, is founded in Den Bosch. But anyone who expects clarity about the direction and leadership of the new party will be disappointed. There is also concern within the party about further ‘green leftification’.
