Recommendations of the Editorial team

In parallel to their new single “Nightshift Superstar”, Muse have not only announced the “The Wow! Signal” European tour, but also the album “The Wow! Signal”, which will be released on June 26th. Matt Bellamy and colleagues are now going on tour.

After arena concerts in Great Britain, Muse will return to mainland Europe in November, where, after a show in Berlin’s Uber Arena, they will play two shows each in Düsseldorf’s PSD Bank Dome and Zurich’s AG Hallenstadion.

The presale begins on Wednesday, June 17th for both the Germany and Switzerland concerts.

Back into orbit

The previous tracks on the album already indicated that the band wanted to build on the sound that made Muse a style-defining alternative rock band in the early 2000s. “Cryogen” starts right there: The song works with cutting guitars and an urgent groove. The dramaturgy oscillates between controlled force and anthemic exaggeration. In terms of reception, the title is already associated with earlier Muse classics such as “Plug In Baby”.
