A deceased person was found in the dunes of Egmond aan Zee yesterday afternoon, it concerns a 56-year-old man from Alkmaar. The man was probably killed in a crime.
The detectives are still investigating the case and cannot yet determine the cause of death with certainty, but for the time being it assumes a crime. The police have started a Large-Scale Investigation Team (TGO) and are asking people who saw something in the dune area last Sunday to report.

Yesterday afternoon a report was received by the police about a body in the dunes. The police went to look and found the lifeless body of a man. It can now be stated from an investigation that it concerns a 56-year-old Alkmaarder. The man’s family has been notified.
