On Wednesday, conversations between the US, Ukraine and Europe are planned. According to ‘The Wall Street Journal’, the Americans want an answer to their most recent peace plan. The Crimea is central to that. After all, Washington asks to recognize the annexation of that peninsula by Russia. Is that not a reasonable price for peace, knowing that Moscow has had it for more than ten years? And does it make sense to hold on to a piece of land where Russians have always been in the majority?
