It is baking and roasting today. According to our weatherman David Dehenauw, the mercury can rise locally to 38 degrees. The peak is expected between 5 and 6 pm. Possibly the day record may even die. Code Oranje is in force in Flanders (with the exception of the coast) and Brussels. Drink enough, avoid heavy efforts and be alert to vulnerable groups, such as the elderly and children.
