David Di Donatello 2026: Matilde De Angelis and Bianca Balti

Darkness becomes couture in the evening of David di Donatello 2026 which, by popular acclaim, is dedicated to absolute black. A safe haven that never fails to amaze, thanks to its couture details and proportions. Bianca Balti opens the dance on the red carpet with one shift dress signed Jil Sander by Simone Bellotti. Next to her, the magnetism of Valeria Golino (in a flowing V-neck dress by Fendi illuminated by the parure of Pomellato) and the intellectual grace of Valeria Bruni Tedeschi (in Giorgio Armani) have reiterated how total black is the universal language of timeless cinematic charisma.

To complete the group – in black – there are also Anna Ferzetti That Matilda De Angelis. The latter (winner of the Best Supporting Actress award for Out by Mario Martone), in Armani Prive it demonstrates how tailoring can coexist with a fresh and studiedly modern attitude.

A few touches of couture color

If black is the heart of the night, the chromatic variations and unscheduled whites give the red carpet an unexpected brightness. Starting from Barbara Ronchi in dress Valentine ice color and Sara Serraiocco in a dark trouser suit with gold inserts, both in Valentine collection Fireflies.

The graphic contrast is instead the territory of Ornella Muti (awarded with the David Speciale), in a sparkling black outfit with a white lace border. While Tecla Insolia opt for a dress Fendi powder pink, a delicate shade that – romantically – eschews clichés.

But there are also touches of deep blue like the fairytale and ultra chic trousers by Aurora Quattrocchi (Best Leading Actress Award for My Joy by Margherita Spampinato), naturally signed Armani.

Male elegance at the top

In the parade of stars, the male protagonists also shine very brightly. Which from one generation to the next, oscillate between the orthodoxy of the tuxedo and new, relaxed interpretations of formal dressing. Pierfrancesco Favino he breaks the mold of the evening suit in a beautifully cut double-breasted suit, but worn with an unbuttoned white shirt and no tie. It is the portrait of a mature and conscious charm that does not need too many frills.

The evolution of the classic finds its voice in the look of Fendi chosen by Luca Marinelli. While Francesco Gheghi gives a rock shock to the red carpet with a total black outfit illuminated by chain necklace. Cinecittà returns to being the center of the world, confirming that Italian charm is a lesson in modernity to be followed very carefully.
