Holstein Kiel largely had a grip on SV Darmstadt 98 in the 2nd Bundesliga, but missed several best chances. That almost avoided.

Darmstadt’s ISAC Lidberg initially mercilessly punished Holstein’s chance of opportunities with his eighth goal of the season. David Zec found the goal for the hosts and scored 1-1 (0-0) final. With the draw, the “lilies” first moved back to the top of the table, Kiel targets the upper half of the table.

“We took the point with us, and it is also not a shame that it was a point of mentality,” admitted Darmstadt’s coach Florian Kohfeldt after the game.

Former shock for Darmstadt

The guests from Darmstadt wanted the fourth threesome in a row and had thus recaptured the top of the table. Kiel, on the other hand, had to digest the neck of the past weekend when it set a narrow bankruptcy at SV Elversberg after two wins. Holstein coach Marcel Rapp switched his team to two positions: Skrzybski and Harres began for Thermelsen and Müller. Rapps also made two changes to Florian Kohfeldt: Nuremberg and Boëtius started for classes and clefish.

Kohfeldt’s match plan was quickly thrown over the pile – and Leon classes found himself in the field just as quickly. Defense player Fabian Nürnberger had already injured himself in the 4th minute and had to get out. Classes came for him, but initially showed ARGE problems on the defensive. In the 9th minute, Alexander Bernhardsson left him, but narrowly missed the Darmstadt goal with his shot from an acute angle.

Shoes prevents Kiel guidance

The first quarter of an hour belonged to the Kielers. And without Marcel shoes between the posts, Darmstadt would soon have been behind. With an amazing reflex, the SVD keeper tore up his arms and steered a header by Steven Skrzybski from four meters to the latte (20th).

Kiel also put the guests under pressure with aggressive pressing. Except for one or two half chances, the guests did nothing on the offensive. Kiel, on the other hand, gave another big chance to lead. First, Adrian Kaprálik graduated from a half -left position in the penalty area. The deflected ball landed on the long post on the foot of Tolkin. With his volley shot from a short distance, he only hit the outside network. With a draw flattering for the guests, we went into the cabins.

Darmstadt punishes Kiel’s user for opportunities

Kiel continued where it stopped. After a strong pass from Kasper Davidsen, Phil Harres appeared freely in front of shoes, shoes made up very big-and Harres shot him in one-on-one (50th).

Once again, the football platitue was true that the usable grower revenues. On the left corner of the penalty area, Darmstadt’s Isac Lidberg got the ball, pulled to the middle and scored from around 17 meters to the bottom right (54th) for the lead for the “lilies”. It was Lidberg’s eighth season.

Kiel does not give up – and meet

Holstein did not get up and was finally rewarded. David Zec banged the ball from about 16 meters and a half -right position to compensate in the left corner (66.). While the SVD seemed satisfied with the draw, the Kielers wanted more, but also shy away from the last risk.
