“We have to take this seriously. He (Trump, ed.) wants Greenland.” Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said this tonight in Paris where a meeting of the ‘Coalition of the willing’ took place. In a joint statement earlier in the day, European leaders had already made it clear that only Greenland and Denmark determine Greenland’s future. Prime Minister Bart De Wever also expressed his support for the call from his Danish colleague this evening. “The West is strongest when it is united and working together, not when it divides itself.”
