Daniel Ricciardo tested positive for Corona

A good week before the start of the season, Australian Formula 1 driver Daniel Ricciardo tested positive for the corona virus. This was announced by his McLaren racing team. The 32-year-old missed Friday’s testing in Bahrain after feeling unwell since Wednesday.

The eight-time Grand Prix winner has isolated himself in accordance with local regulations, McLaren said, and according to those regulations, Ricciardo will be released from quarantine “in time” for the Bahrain Grand Prix on March 20.

On Saturday, the last day of testing before the start of the season, Ricciardo’s British team-mate Lando Norris will complete the entire day’s program for McLaren.
