ORtoday, Wednesday 4 October, Dakota Johnson turns 34. The actress – best known for her role as Anastasia Steele in the film saga of Fifty Shades of Gray – she started celebrating a few days ago, on the occasion of her boyfriend’s concert, Chris Martin.
The celebrations begin at the Coldplay concert
In fact, on the evening of Sunday 1st October, the actress was spotted at the Coldplay concert at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, in California. Her relationship with the band’s frontman, Chris Martinhas been going swimmingly since October 2017. And at this Sunday’s concert, the actress was accompanied by her mother, Melanie Griffith.
At the concert – the second in the iconic Rose Bowl, included in the triumphal Music of the Spheres World Tour of the British band – Dakota Johnson and Melanie Griffith weren’t the only stars in attendance. They were also seen Christina Aguilera, Adam Sandler And Lily Rose Depp.

Dakota Johnson: Chris Martin and love
The love between the 46-year-old singer and the actress he is strong and the two try to protect him as much as possible. Earlier this year Chris Martin revealed that his girlfriend had played a key role in his band’s shows.
In fact, within their shows, Coldplay also inaugurated a new inclusive listening experience, allowing their fans present in the locations to use the so-called Subpac jackets. These instruments allow deaf or hard-of-hearing viewers to pick up bass. And therefore to physically perceive the sound, through vibrations. The idea of using these “tactile backs” or “sonic backpacks” came from Dakota Johnson.
Chris Martin explained to CBS Mornings. «My girlfriend gave me a “strange” gift for Christmas. He said, “I got you a Subpac.” It was like the one Finneas (Billie Eilish’s brother, ed.) wore on stage during his concerts. Certainly for someone like him who plays it is comfortable because it vibrates and allows him to hear the drum beat better.” From that gift, then, a partnership was born with Subpac for their world tour.
Dakota Johnson: actress with a thousand… shades
After making herself known in the cinematography series of Fifty Shades, Dakota Johnson has brought home many successful roles. From the movie Black Mass – The last gangster by Scott Cooper (alongside Johnny Depp) until the film A Bigger Splash by Guadagnino, with whom she returned to work for the remake of Suspiria. Here she plays the protagonist Susie Bannon. A role which – as she was able to tell later – forced her to go to therapy, due to the complex conditions of the places where the film was shot, and due to the stress accumulated during the filming of the saga Fifty Shades.
He will be the protagonist of Madame Web (film in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe) and a month ago he presented his latest effort at the Telluride Film Festival, Daddy.
