A cyclist was seriously injured in Roosendaal on Monday evening, after it was scooped by a car. The cyclist ended up on the windshield of the car, after which he ended up on the ground tens of meters away.
That happened on the Roosendaalsebaan at the intersection with the reeds.
Multiple emergency services, including a trauma helicopter, pulled out. The man was taken to the hospital with the trauma helicopter.
The intersection and the road to Oud Gastel are closed. The police are investigating how the accident could happen.
