The accident happened around 9:30 am on Kustlaan in Zeebrugge. The 69-year-old woman was riding her bicycle on the cycle path when she was hit near a truck parking lot. The trucker wanted to turn right and may not have noticed the victim or noticed it too late. The exact circumstances are being investigated, but it is certain that the man in his sixties suffered a serious fall and serious injuries in the collision.
