Cycling against pancreatic cancer: “I’m participating, even if it’s too late for me”

Pancreatic cancer is still one of the deadliest cancers in the world: five years after diagnosis, an average of 5 in 100 people are still alive. Research is desperately needed, which is why Deltaplan is organizing a ‘sporting challenge’ on Saturday to raise money. Participants can cycle, walk or run along the Vecht.

Brenda de Wit (53) is a pancreatic cancer patient and will participate on Saturday. She cycles 50 kilometers with her husband and two daughters. And that while she has just finished chemotherapy. The tour starts Saturday morning in Nederhorst den Berg.

It is no longer possible to participate. You can still donate via this link.
