Harrie has been working with Kwantum almost his entire career. After having been a driven floor manager for about eighteen years, he has now taken a step back. He still enjoys working every day. “As a Nestor of the team I have a lot of knowledge about our complete range.”
In May it is forty years since Harrie Bij Quantum came to work. He started as a part -time employee and eventually made the switch to FloorManager. After many years, with a move to another store here and there, he is now again at old base. “I never had the intention to apply elsewhere, because I like my profession so much. I always have a good time at Kwantum, I have nice colleagues and live nearby. ”

From PVC to Vinyl
Kwantum has a wide range of floors, including high -quality PVC floors and (moisture resistant) laminate. The floors are easy to lay yourself. “The purchase of a new floor is not nothing: that is not an impulsive purchase. We know everything about the material, the operation and the different legs. I like that I can really advise customers on that. “
Harrie notices that in addition to the trend of PVC floors and laminate, vinyl is also sold a lot. “That has to do with the fact that vinyl is a lot cheaper in the purchase and comes with a lot of nice designs. You have to keep in mind that your floor must be one hundred percent flat and you are bound to the four-meter-wide role. PVC floors will last longer, but they are a bit more expensive in the purchase. It just depends on what you are going for, ”explains Harrie.
