At the end of 2018, Ruud Feltkamp said goodbye to Good Times Bad Times at the end of 2018 to start a bitcoin company. Has his cryptocario failed? “I would like to go back in GTST!”
The GTST adventure of Ruud Feltkamp stopped when he decided to be busy with his brother full-time with their start-up cryptohopper and since then we hear very little from him. For the past seven years it has been quiet around the former actor. How are him now? Well, he would love to return to the RTL 4 soap.
Nice and fascinating
Ruud recently made a 1-April joke over his GTST comeback, but there is a silent craving. “I put it online and of course I hoped that a few people would respond, but yes, you’ve been out of the series for seven years. So somewhere I thought: this can also be a very sad moment, that people think: nice and fascinating.”
“Or that they just don’t respond at all,” he continues in the latest edition of the Weekend. “But I got so many heart -warming reactions, it was very sweet.”
In the lee
It made Ruud think. “When I was still in good times, it all happens to you and you just accept it. But if you are in the shelter at some point and no longer in the picture, and you get this kind of messages, that is really very special. It did a lot to me.”
In fact, he also really wants again in the series. “I would really like it. So with this I invite them: call me! No, just kidding, I am not that sad. But I would certainly like to come back once, I am open to that.”
He is not that sad, but between the lines you hear him shout: “Call me!”
Virus
Ruud misses acting very much. He does not regret the crypto adventure, but: “At the same time I also see it as a kind of long vacation that you think at some point: now it has been enough, maybe I should show my head again and I am ready again.”
Such a break is not handy in terms of media, he concludes. “Such a break is very difficult if you are in the spotlight, because you also have to keep the engine running a bit. It is important that you constantly show your face everywhere, because otherwise you have forgotten.”
