How were the beginnings of the company?
We started with Derito Legal, a Law Firm in La Plata in which we set out to find solutions to avoid long judicial processes. During this search, we came across smart contracts and understood the enormous potential that blockchain technology has. We found that they can not only streamline and simplify legal processes, but also promote equity and decentralization in various areas. We established associations with prominent construction businessmen such as “Grupo Pose” and “Imperio del Ceramico”. Together, we saw that giving life to an application like Criptoladrillo was an extraordinary opportunity to advance a common and priority objective: democratize access to housing. On that path, of course, We continue to add the main companies in Argentina to our project.
What is Cryptobrick and what are its functions?
Cryptobrick redefines the way people can save to own their home. Through tokenization, users can transfer money to the platform and purchase digital bricks. This money is allocated to participating distribution centers in charge of collecting the materials. Each digital brick is equivalent to a real physical brick and its value increases with the value of the physical brick.
At Criptoladrillo, we like to see it as an experience similar to that of childhood, when we saved in our piggy bank to buy that dream toy. Now, those dreams translate into having a house. The application becomes that piggy bank that allows the exchange for materials when the person decides, and most importantly, without losing the value of the investment.
What are Criptoladrillo’s expansion plans for the year 2024?
We established valuable contacts with members of Banco Bid and officials from Costa Rica after presenting Criptoladrillo at the Blockchain Jungle event. This drives us to pursue our objectives of joining forces with municipal, provincial governments and the National State to contribute to reducing the housing deficit. that affects not only Argentina, but all of Central America and Latin America. We are convinced that by collaborating with the public sector, private companies, Architects, Engineers and owners, we can be a great tool to transform these precarious homes into decent homes. Expansion for us not only means reaching new territories, but also working on the idea of sustainability.. We recognize that the world demands companies committed to the future, and we feel ready to take on that challenge. That’s why, We focus on continuing to expand our network by partnering with leading companies, so that Criptoladrillo reaches every corner of the country.
