Surgery successful
Bundesliga club 1. FC Heidenheim has to do without defender Thomas Keller for months. The 24-year-old tore a cruciate ligament in his knee during the training week before the league game at Borussia Mönchengladbach, the club announced on Tuesday.
Keller, who moved from Ingolstadt to Brenz in 2022, had a successful operation last weekend and is currently in rehab. The central defender had been used twice so far this season.
