Ximena de Tezanos Pinto is almost a public figure on the Buenos Aires political and media scene, known for being the neighbor who lived one floor above the apartment occupied by Cristina Fernández de Kirchner in the Juncal and Uruguay building, in the Recoleta neighborhood. Her status as an “upstairs neighbor” made her the protagonist of numerous articles and interviews since 2021, when she placed banners against the former president on her balcony and gained media visibility.

The lady starred in public episodes that led her to go from a local presence to a national profile. At the time, he also ventured into candidacies on the Buenos Aires scene: in 2025 he appeared as a substitute on an electoral list that generated controversy and was challenged before the electoral justice system. What was striking about Tezanos Pinto were the gestures directed at the former president, from banners against her to flags tied to her balcony. Currently, with the former president residing under house arrest in the Constitución neighborhood, they are no longer neighbors.

However, distance is not an impediment for this media personality not to continue harassing the Justicialism leader. On her Facebook account, the woman uploaded a video in which she incites residents of the Constitución neighborhood to report the meetings that several militants are holding in the vicinity of the intersection of San José and Humberto Primo. The corner of the Constitución neighborhood is a point where activists usually greet and accompany the former vice president who, from time to time, waves from the balcony in reciprocity. “We must put order in San José 1111,” warned the former neighbor.

Based on the assassination attempt against CFK and investigations into far-right groups that were the focus of the investigations, particularly the group called the Federal Revolution, accusations and versions emerged that linked De Tezanos Pinto to these people under investigation. In different instances, judges requested evidentiary measures to investigate possible links between their environment and that group; Tezanos Pinto, for her part, denied direct relations and claimed to be taken as a witness in some cases.

Recently, Tezanos Pinto testified as a witness in the trial for the attack against Cristina Fernández de Kirchner. There she provided her version about meetings and visits in her apartment and about gestures towards the former president, a testimony that once again placed her at the center of the judicial and media scene. The journalistic records of these hearings indicate that his statement was relevant to reconstruct the neighborhood dynamics and the visits to the building.
