A number of cows broke loose this morning between Fluitenberg and Ruinen and walked briefly on the A28.
This created a traffic jam. “Fortunately, the cows quickly got off the road and moved to smaller roads,” says an employee of the ANWB. “At the moment the right lane is still closed, but traffic can pass.”
It is unclear how the cows escaped. The traffic jam near Fluitenberg has now been resolved.
