The decision with the Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund about an early return from Sumaila Coulibaly has apparently been made.
As “Sky” reports, Borussia Dortmund Somaila Coulibaly will bring back prematurely. The background is the club World Cup, which begins on June 14th.
Due to the premature return campaign, the 21 -year -old central defender can take part in the tournament with the BVB.
Coulibaly is actually awarded until June 30th to the French first division club Stade Brest.
At the beginning of May, “Sky” had already reported about BVB bosses. According to the TV station, Coulibaly was together with his advisors in Dortmund last week to listen to the plans of his actual employer.
With an additional transfer window created by FIFA, the Bundesliga team can also easily register the loan.
Can Coulibaly help BVB?
It is questionable whether Coulibaly can help BVB at the club World Cup. The youngster had recently struggled with adductor complaints. He played his last competitive game in February.
In the previous course of the season, the Frenchman had been missing several months for pelvic problems.
Despite his injuries, Coulibaly completed at least 16 competitive games for his loan club this season, eight times he came to the train in the Champions League.
At Borussia Dortmund he still has a contract until 2026. For BVB, Coulibaly has made two competitive games so far in his still young career, and in the previous season he was loaned to Royal Antwerp.
