Due to the spring break, Telstar had an open training last Monday. It resulted in happy children’s faces along the line. “That was arranged by the kids club. I think many people enjoyed it. I saw many children at the training today.”
Correia notices that it is now ‘cool’ to be a Telstar fan again. “I already notice that at home. They sometimes even go to school in a Telstar tracksuit. That didn’t happen in my time, I actually wore anything but a Telstar tracksuit, haha.”

Correia has an update on the fitness of the selection. “It could be that Devon Koswal and Tyrone Owusu are back in the match selection. Of course, they cannot play for long. It would be really nice for us as a team if they were added again.”
The possible return of the two is offset by the absence of Kay Tejan. “NAC will come too early for him,” said Correia. Adil Lechkar is also missing for the time being due to a knee injury.
Telstar will play against NAC Breda tomorrow at 8 p.m. The match can be followed via our live blog on the site and in the app.
