Cooling is delayed: ‘Wednesday and Thursday also warm and sunny’

The cooling that would be approaching in the middle of this week is still a long way off. That is what Wouter van Bernebeek of Weerplaza told Monday morning in the radio program ‘WAKKER!’ on Omroep Brabant.

“Sunday was a great day with 27, locally 28 degrees and we will achieve this again on Monday afternoon. We will still see some clouds in the morning, especially above the north of the province. In the afternoon it will be mostly sunny everywhere, with so high temperatures for the end of August. There is very little wind, so it will feel really hot.”

“It will be 20 degrees on Monday evening until after sunset.”

According to Wouter, it also remains pleasant for a long time in the evening. “It’s great barbecue weather, great weather to sit outside anyway. I think it will be above 20 degrees until after sunset.” The temperature eventually drops to about 15 degrees at night.

On Tuesday we actually get a repeat of this weather. “Some clouds in the morning, mostly sun in the afternoon and again about 27 degrees with little wind.”

“The tipping point has been postponed.”

The heat will also continue on Wednesday and Thursday. “A few days ago it was expected that Wednesday would be more or less the turning point, with really lower temperatures and more showers afterwards,” Wouter nods. “But that tipping point has been postponed a bit. Wednesday and Thursday will also be warm, with 27 or 28 degrees. Lots of sun. Perhaps a single rain or thunderstorm will follow on Thursday evening. Towards the weekend, the weather will turn again, but It’s still a bit uncertain when this tipping point will be.”
