The mighty KHL club St. Petersburg’s SKA suffered an overtime loss to Traktor Cheljabinski. However, after the match, incomprehensible comments from the SKA camp were heard.

Russian Fontanka.ru– according to the news site, some kind of fan banner was also seen in the stands. The banner had a scathing tone towards SKA.

SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg told Fontanka that he saw no banner.

– But I am not surprised that they are trying to fight us. It won’t work though, he replied.

Then a very peculiar statement was heard.

– In St. Petersburg, journalists are objective and critical, but we would need encouragement and support. Moscow media does not criticize CSKA Moscow. The media should encourage us in St. Petersburg as well.

– Read the news. You can see from them that journalists living in St. Petersburg are trying to rock the boat. You should think about that. Let’s rather encourage our own, Rotenberg charged.
