The court in Den Bosch will speak out on Wednesday in another case around Peter Gillis. This time, the reason is the separation of the holiday park magnate from Omel and Nicol Kremers. His ex would then have violated a confidentiality agreement and therefore Gillis demands 2.3 million euros from her.
The couple officially separated in 2023. They then agreed that they would say nothing negative about each other in public. That seemed to be going well for a long time. They saw each other regularly, even went on vacation together and would have been intimate, Gillis unveiled earlier in court. Furthermore, he would have arranged everything for his ‘Nicolleke’, such as a car.
‘Forced signing’
According to Nicol it is all different, so her lawyer tried to explain it during the court case in May. She could not handle the court herself. Nicol is afraid that she will end up in a deep valley again due to a confrontation with her ex and she wants to prevent that. According to her counsel, Nicol was forced to sign the confidentiality agreement. She was dependent on Gillis during that period: she lived and worked with him and made agreements with his lawyer.
In addition, some between the two former lovers is playing: Nicol reported ten abuses in 2022 by Gillis. According to the 63-year-old entrepreneur, the soup is not eaten as hot as it is served. There is little going on, he claims.
Rang up to 2.3 million
Gillis is tired of now that Nicol is so. In his eyes, she is involved in the agreements made in 2023. And that will cost her money: the bill has risen to 2.3 million euros. Although Gillis, who is also known from the TV program Massa is Kassa, did not make it clear how this amount is structured.
When Gillis gets his way, Nicol really has a problem. It doesn’t look like she can just put the amount on the table. Perhaps the court in Den Bosch offers a helping hand. He will determine whether the duty of confidentiality is legally valid and whether or not it has been forced. If the agreements can go through the bracket, the question is whether and how much Nicol should pay.
When Gillis has to answer for the mistreatment of his ex, it is not clear. Both the Public Prosecution Service and the court could not give a definitive answer about this.
Many lawsuits have taken place around Peter Gillis in recent years:
