Things are gradually entering the hot phase: the draw for the intermediate round of the Conference League was made today. Also there: 1. FC Heidenheim.
Difficult fate for coach Frank Schmidt’s team: 1. FC Heidenheim faces FC Copenhagen in the Conference League. The Danish top club, which reached the round of 16 of the Champions League last year, will now challenge the only German representative in the play-offs.
The Schmidt team’s other possible opponent was KAA Gent, but the Belgians were drawn against Real Betis from Spain.
