With the “Somersault Slide 360” tour, Big Thief will play some of the biggest headline shows of their career in 2026. The tour plan takes them to Norway, Sweden, Denmark as well as France, Italy and the Netherlands, among others. Some of the shows in London, Manchester and Glasgow are already sold out. The band is also stopping off in Germany for four concerts – tickets are still available here. ROLLING STONE presents.

From Brooklyn to the charts

Big Thief was founded in Brooklyn in 2014. Since then, Adrianne Lenker, Buck Meek and James Krivchenia have become one of the most influential voices in the US indie scene. They achieved their international breakthrough in 2019 with the album “UFOF” (stands for “UFO-Friend”) on 4AD Records. As a result, they made it into the official album charts in Great Britain and other European countries. The band also has four Grammy nominations to their name, including “Best Alternative Album” in 2020 for “UFOF.” Their subsequent album “Two Hands” was also a chart success.

The new album “Double Infinity”

Their latest album is the band’s third. “Double Infinity” was released on September 5, 2025. The nine songs were recorded at Power Station Studios in New York. Lead singer Adrianne Lenker describes the content of “Double Infinity” as follows: “It’s about the suffering of being human, but also about the joy of it – about moments in which pain and ecstasy coexist.”
