Under Armor and the Streetwear brand Unser, which belongs to the US sports articler, have presented a regenerative collection in Milan.
Under Armor and Unless, said that the joint sportswear collection, which was presented at Milan Design Week last week at Milan Design Week, can be triggered completely without residues of nature. The products are plant -based and free of plastic.
“Our innovative approach differs fundamentally from the conventional production cycle, which is often based on plastics and generates waste,” said Unless founder Eric Liedtke. “This regenerative sportswear collection consists exclusively of vegetable materials and is designed in such a way that it broken down instead of strain on the environment.”
From the vegetable material, whereby it is cotton, hoodies, T-shirts and short trousers in the unisex cut were created. The components are – from sewing thread to the label made of this material. There are also details such as buttons made from corozon nuts. The dyes and printing colors used are water-based as well as solvent and platis-free.
“This is a pioneering step in the direction of a new type of product development-with an innovative claim that respects both athletes: inside and the environment,” continues Liedtke, who was appointed Executive Vice President of Brand Strategy by the US group after taking up the UNLEST takeover.
