It may be a relief that 2023 is behind us, but even greater is the relief that the sixteen annual reviews of 2023 are also behind us. I’ve seen them before, those images, and nothing equals the initial emotion, that first tear, the spontaneous laugh, the surprise or horror at the first sight. I don’t need to see them bundled again. So away with 2023, long live 2024. That presents itself as fairly predictable. Hence now, and to save you all those annual overviews later: this was 2024!
