A truck and a car with a trailer caused a havoc on the A28 at the beginning of the afternoon. That happened between Staphorst and the Lankhorst junction near Meppel.
Both vehicles collided, which caused different debris on the road. Rijkswaterstaat closed three lanes for some time, creating a kilometer -long traffic jam. At the peak, that resulted in almost half an hour delay.
In the meantime, the road is clean again and the traffic jam dissolved. Nobody was injured.
