Collection for the Hebe family: ‘For funeral and without worrying about costs’

A fundraiser has been launched for the family of ten-year-old Hebe. Friends of her parents want to raise fifty thousand euros for the funeral of the girl who died and financial security for the period afterwards. “So that Hebe gets a dignified funeral, without worrying about costs, and then they have time to mourn and process and take good care of the sisters.”

The fundraiser was started early in the afternoon on Saturday. Around a quarter to five, more than twelve thousand euros had already been raised.

The grief and trauma of the loss and then the loss is ‘indescribable great’ for her parents and sisters, write the initiators of the action. Hebe’s parents are self-employed, so there is no income for the time being.

“We, as friends, wish this family that at least they don’t have to worry about money for a while. Logically, Willemijn and Siebe are not able to work for the time being. This means that there is no income. They are also now busy to give Hebe a beautiful farewell, this also entails a lot of costs”, can be read in the description of the promotion.

Support
The family is extremely grateful for the support of the past few days from all over the country and far beyond, the friends of Hebe’s parents write. “We hope you will help by standing around this family and making a donation, giving them time here trying to recover and giving Hebe a nice goodbye.”

Missing
The handicapped Hebe and her supervisor Sanne (26) had been missing since Monday afternoon. For two days they searched the route from Raamsdonksveer, the place where Hebe had daytime activities, to Vught, her hometown. Finally, the car with Sanne and Hebe was found on Wednesday evening in the water near the A59 at the Empel junction.

Since the death of Hebe and Sanne, there has been a memorial at the HebeHuis in Vught. People put flowers and stuffed animals there.
