Cold wind creates a bit of winter: ‘That will be scratching car windows’

It will be a bit of winter in Brabant on Saturday morning. Temperatures will dip below freezing on Friday night. It will also be cool during the day on Friday, according to Diana Woei from Weerplaza. “Dress thick!”

“Friday there will be a strong, really cold northeasterly wind”, Diana warned on Thursday morning in the radio program WAKKER! on Omroep Brabant. “That will be a very cold day, but it looks beautiful, with lots of sunshine. Very different weather than this Thursday. It can be 7 degrees, but because of the wind it feels a lot colder.”

The wind will decrease in the course of Friday and broad clearings will develop in the night to Saturday. “With less wind, the temperature will drop below freezing and it will be a bit of winter on Saturday morning. Then you will have to scratch the car windows.”

The sun will also shine regularly during the day on Saturday. “It will be a maximum of 7 degrees, but that is a normal value for this time of year.”

On Sunday, clouds will increase again and it will become a bit more variable. “But I think that a large part of Sunday will also be dry.”
