In parts of the country, the KNMI has issued a yellow code due to dense fog. It concerns the west and center of the country. There may also be dense fog in the northeast of the country later Thursday evening. It concerns Friesland, Groningen and Drenthe.
Dense fog means visibility is less than 200 meters. KNMI warns: traffic and outdoor activities may be hindered.

On Friday morning, the fog clears. Rijkswaterstaat warns that the morning rush hour can also be hindered by the fog: “Are you going out tomorrow? Be alert and adapt your driving style.”
