Five years after the last episodes, Netflix has released the third season of Christmas with a stranger, Norwegian comedy which had given rise to numerous national adaptations (in Italy, I hate Christmas set in Chioggia).

The series tells the story of Johanne, a single nurse desperately looking for a soulmate with whom to spend the Christmas holidays. The third season picks up where it left off, replicating the same formulas that mix irony, feelings, misunderstandings, races against time.

Also in this case, in fact, as in the previous ones, the events begin on December 1st, with a countdown that runs through the entire pre-Christmas period with the aim of arriving no longer single on Christmas Eve.

Johanne goes through all the affairs and flirtations from the past: unlikely characters, problematic males, impossible loves and even a relationship with another woman. Between cultural specificities and universal messages, the series is an opportunity to talk about feelings in a light, but not superficial, way.

To smile with love while remembering the holidays that have just ended.
