Chris Woerts says he always declares all-inclusive: a nice high amount with everything included. So no separate receipts. How much does he take? Everyone at Talpa now knows that…
We not only see Chris Woerts in front of the screens at Talpa in programs such as VI and De Oranjezomer, but as a sports marketer he also negotiates sports rights on behalf of John de Mol. It is a position that brings him into the boardrooms of the Dutch media world, and apparently also justifies hefty declarations.
All inclusive
Chris is currently in Curaçao for the broadcasts of De Oranjezomer and he declares that neatly. Will the invoiced amount remain private this time? One time it went really wrong. “Declaring, Chris, you do that sometimes, right?” Hélène Hendriks asks him. on the air on SBS 6.
Chris then: “No, I always do all-inclusive. That always prevents problems, because otherwise you have to collect receipts. Then I have to scan receipts and all that bullshit. I always pay one amount. Nice and high, but that includes everything.”
Reply all
Studio guest Thomas van Groningen then reveals that Chris is not exactly discreet. “Yes, everyone knows that. It’s true: Chris once sent his invoice to the wrong email address, resulting in the entire company receiving his invoice in the inbox.”
Hélène: “And how much was that?”
Thomas: “Yes, that was a lot of money. Hahahaha!”
3,000 people
Chris confesses that something went wrong. “Yes, I did reply and then it turned out to be 3,000 people or something. HR immediately on the phone: ‘What have you done!’ I say, ‘Well, everyone can know. Then it is inspiration for colleagues.’”
Hélène concludes: “You’re such a top entrepreneur, aren’t you? Always make the most of it!”
