Choose! “I think I’m voting for a party that is committed to public transport”

A well-functioning public transport network is essential for Teuntje. She does not have a driver’s license, so she has to travel by train and bus for longer distances. Castricum station is her base; the perfect place for Rick Tromp to tell her how the province of North Holland makes it as pleasant as possible to travel by public transport. He is responsible for this within the province.

The provincial elections will be held on March 15. But what does the Province actually do for us and how can we influence this by casting our vote? This is not clear to Carmen, Teuntje and Mohammad. None of the three have previously voted provincially.

In the series ‘Choose!’ In nine episodes, NH Nieuws will search with them for more insight into the work of the province. So that they enter the voting booth with sufficient knowledge on election day. This seventh episode gives Teuntje insight into how the province tries to connect travel by bicycle, bus and train as smoothly as possible.

This program was created in collaboration with the province of North Holland.
