CHL: Tappara secured the next place

The Finnish teams Tappara and TPS were aiming for the CHL on Saturday.

On Saturday, Tappara suffered a 2-3 overtime loss to Rapperswil in the hockey CHL. Despite that, the Tampere club secured their place in the playoffs.

At the beginning of the third set, Tappara was still on top of the game. Roman Cervenka gave Rapperswil the lead in the opening set, but Christian Tanus and Mikael Seppälä put the people of Tampere in the lead.

However, the Swiss club was able to level the game at 2-2 just one and a half minutes before the end of the set.

The solution was seen when the Jokers became familiar Jordan Schroeder scored a power play goal in overtime.

Despite the loss, Tappara continues its CHL season. The team is second in Group C, and Rapperswil and Slovan Bratislava can no longer pass it.

TPS played against EV Zug on Saturday and lost 1-6.
