Chiefs celebrate Super Bowl title with big parade

The Kansas City Chiefs celebrated their fourth Super Bowl title with a big parade.

The team around star quarterback Patrick Mahomes was loudly cheered by thousands of fans along a 3.22 kilometer route through Kansas City.

Players and coaches traveled in a red double-decker bus. Since many schools remained closed for the day, there were also numerous children among the fans.

The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 25:22 after overtime in an exciting final in Las Vegas on Sunday. The Chiefs had previously won the Vince Lombardi Trophy in 1970, 2020 and 2023.
